Apple Island Resort Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is Apple Island Resort open all year?
A. The resort is open from May 1 until October 20 each year. Due to permits, this will not change.

Q. May we be at a specific campsite or next to another camper of our choice?
A. Because Apple Island rents according to rig size, we cannot guarantee a specific campsite. If options are available, we always try to accommodate our campers.

Q. What campsite are we on?
A. Campsite numbers will be given when you arrive at Apple Island Resort. It is not possible to assign a specific campsite until you arrive.

Q. Is there shade?
A. There is shade on some campsites, but Apple Island Resort is mostly open field. The rally field has no shade.

Q. Do you have campsites close to the swimming pool and community center?
A. There are some campsites with only water and electric service that are very close. Most all other sites are a fair walking distance away.

Q. How many people can stay on our campsite at a time?
A. All campsite rates are for 4 (four) person occupancy. There is a limit of six people per campsite. The fee for a maximum of 2 (two) additional overnight guests is $8.00 per day per guest for those 5 years of age and older. The guest fee is not applicable on campsites rented seasonally.

Q. May we have visitors, and do they have to pay?
A. You may have day visitors. The day visitor fee is $8.00 per day per visitor for those 5 years of age and older.

Q. Is my deposit refundable if I cancel my reservation?
A. Because of the increasing popularity of Apple Island Resort, deposits are non-refundable. Holidays for campsites and cabins require a three (3) night minimum deposit, which is non-refundable.
